If you're purposefully looking to use AngluarJS (aka Angular 1.x), this is a great book for beginners. It has lots of useful diagrams to help explain how different concepts explained in the book are connected and lots of great step-by-step directions on what to do. If you don't work on a team or in a job that requires you to use AngularJS however, I would highly suggest looking for a book on Angular 2.x+ and/or Typescript because newer versions of Angular are very different structurally and conceptually in comparison to AngularJS.Core concepts such as "Scope" and "Controllers" that this book focuses on and that drive AngularJS are not present in Angular 2.x+. Angular 2.x+ focuses on Object Oriented web-development, so if you have experience in other object oriented languages, Angular 2.x+ will likely be more familiar to you. Angular 2.x+ also leans heavily on Typescript over Javascript, so if you're a fan on static typing, Angular 2.x+ is the way to go.
AngularJS is one of the most used javascript code libraries today and A well-explained book and it offers a simple approach in discussing how coding is done using AngularJS and the book can be well understood if you have the basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML programming and the author effectively shares his expertise through giving illustrations and sample coding exercises with a step-by-step instruction to follow through and AngularJS is one of the most used javascript code libraries today and the author does a great job of presenting a step by step strategies for the javascript programmer who wants to extend the capabilities of Angular and it's a good book for beginners engaging all the fundamental concepts and its easy to understand with sophisticated examples and has depth in the content and it's simple, quick and doesn't take up a lot of space filling your head with junk you don't need and this is an amazing showing book for somebody who has done a touch of Javascript coding, and needs to 'up their amusement' to learn AngularJS, so they can at last be more proficient and grow more element rich, complex code and simply be prompted that AngularJS has a long expectation to learn and adapt for pretty much anybody.
If you are needing this book, you are probably at the point that I was when I got it. Later I learned something about Angular (using the name generically without version information) that I would like to pass on for your sanity.The original release of Angular (1.0) is now known as Angular JS. When Angular 2 was created, it was a total rewrite. As I heard someone phrase it, they screwed up Angular JS so bad that they couldn't make Angular 2.0 backward compatible. If you need to learn Angular JS, this is a good book. If you need to learn Angular 2.0 or greater (7.0 has been released as of this review) then this book will only confuse you...speaking from experience.If I should not have included this next part, my apologies. I didn't know better.On the udemy.com website there is a GREAT Angular 2.0+ course named "Angular 7 (formerly Angular 2) - The Complete Guide" (he recently updated it to include 7.0 changes) by a guy named Maximilian Schwarzmüller. He is German so you have to adjust just a little to his accent but his methodology and content is amazing. I paid $10 for the course. Now that I have been through the course, I would have gladly paid $500.
Interesting book to read! This is a great book for beginners who wants to learn more about Angular JS and contains the steps, strategies, and techniques you need to learn and use AngularJS. I found this book very well explained that anyone can easily understand and I really enjoyed reading this book. Highly recommended!
